I’ve been an athlete my whole life. When I was hurt playing competitive soccer, and needed physical therapy to return to competitive play, I knew: if I hadn’t received quality care and physical therapy I did at the time, I wouldn’t have been able to return to the same level of play like I did.
I have been an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) for over 15 years and achieved this accolade after finishing a year-long post-professional residency in orthopedics where I was mentored one on one by highly trained specialists in their field. With this training I am able to recognize the biomechanical dysfunctions and poor movement patterns that lead to the pain patients begin to experience and then address these issues in order to get them back to the activities they love most. I am looking for a long lasting correction, not a temporary fix for your pain.

Get In TouchFollowing extensive spine surgery, I went to a local physical therapist and felt like oftentimes I was being passed off onto the assistants; my needs, more-or-less, overlooked. It wasn’t until an unfortunate car accident that I found myself looking again for a physical therapist to help me get back on track. Unhappy with my previous experience, I stumbled upon Melia. I knew immediately it was the right decision. The personal attention started with the very first phone call, where I was able to speak directly to Melia and discuss my needs and goals. Every appointment thereafter only backed up my initial impression. Melia is outstanding; her care is individualized, never rushed, and even on the days I didn’t think I’d be able to crawl out from the hole of pain I was in, I’d go home with the sense there was a light at the end of the tunnel. It brings me such comfort knowing she is only a call away. Melia has been a pivotal part of my recovery and my appreciation for the care she renders and the tenderness in her delivery of such knows no boundaries.
